etsy craft party Manila 2011

Join us in sock doll crafting fun and bring a smile to a child’s face!

Date: June 10, 2011, Friday

Time: 5:30pm – 8:00pm

Place: Nuvocity Showroom

150 E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue (C5 Libis) cor. Calle Industria, Q.C. (near Eastwood City) Manila, Philippines

Invite yourself, family, friends, barkada, officemates, classmates, neighbors, and anyone wanting to join in and learn how to make sock dolls.

Sock dolls made and books collected during the craft party night will be donated to underprivileged kids in Metro Manila and Laguna.

To join in the fun: Bring a new or pre-loved children’s book.

Craft supplies: A pair of socks (matching or lonely socks left in your sock drawer)
Stuffing (fiberfill, kapok, or stuffing from an old pillow)
White thread
Needle
Scissors
Buttons and ribbon trim if desired
(no glue, glitter, sequins or glue guns)

Sock doll kits will also be available for purchase! Email or text us to reserve a kit. (Php 250.00)

Registration will start at 5pm.

*Beverages and snacks will be available for purchase at the venue.

The Pink Teacup crafting team will be on hand to guide you in making your one-of-a-kind sock doll creation.

Whether you’re an avid crafter, a newbie crafter, or just want to party and meet new friends, this will be a fun night for you!

You might want to bring business cards and a camera to record your fun memories by our crafty photo wall!

This is the first time ever party of this kind in Manila, bringing people who love to craft and the local art community together in an exciting event, and all for a good cause, too! We would love to have you join us and make crafting history!

This is just the start of future craft meetups.
